About Royal Wood Riding Club
Logo

RWRC is based in Essex (Area 8 of British Riding Clubs ) and we use a showground situated at Centre Oaks Farm at the end of Blountswood Road, just off MURRELS LANE,Church Road, Hockley as our base for events.

Approximately seven years ago RWRC was formed as a result of another local Riding Club disbanding; since that time RWRC has not looked back. In those seven years, RWRC has grown from strength to strength and the number of members has slowly risen.  This total is now split between junior and senior members.

The committee who run RWRC has changed in this time and we would like to thank those who were involved in setting it up seven years ago.  The Riding Club is currently run by the following six members, who without their continued work, time and effort, RWRC would not survive.

However, we do stress that if you and your team qualify for the National Championships in Gloucester or Lincoln, you will be expected to travel and compete for the club.

We are constantly looking for new members (of all ages) to join in the fun. Young up and coming talent and enthusiastic adults are the future of Royal Wood.

We also need people to help with the running of shows, the day before and on the day of the show to help with setting up the show ground.  So if you have time to spare come and put it to good use - you will be most welcome.
