Royal Wood were very proud to qualify three out of four possible qualifying teams for the Winter British Riding Club Championships at Hartpury College in April. 

 

Both the Senior Novice Show Jumping Team and Dressage Teams qualified for the finals.  The showjumping team comprised of Jo Davis, Wendy Englemann, Lindsey Wilson and Hanna Godfrey.  the dressage team was made up of Simon Crowley, Louise Gladding, Samantha Crouchman and Gemma Jewell.  Both teams did exceptionally well competing against the best British Riding Club members in the country.  The show jumping team came a credible 12th out of approximately 30 teams.  The dressage team came 16th.

 

The junior dressage team also qualified for the finals. Their team comprised of Chloe Spooner, George Figg, Bethany-Rose Horrobin and Sarah Arnold.  The team came a very impressive 2nd! Bethany-Rose came individually 3rd in her arena and Sarah Arnold managed 5th on a horse she had never ridden before the day of the test!
